Surgical Tech Location: Birmingham, AL Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,319 to $1,519 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) BLS Certification 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment Experience working in a hospital operating room setting, including pre-operative and sterile field management (client requirement) Ability to prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation and equipment, including instrument counts and sterilization processes (client requirement) Demonstrated competency with multiple surgical specialties such as general surgery and orthopedics preferred.
