As a Database Developer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining Database and Business Intelligence application platforms.Technical skills:Installation, configuration, administration, and management of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012 and SQL Reporting ServicesDeep understanding of database schema object management, data modeling, and architectureStrong SQL and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) experienceExperience with Hyper-V virtual environments and SQL clustered environmentsExperience with SQL Server replication topologiesFamiliarity with Resource Governor, Tuning Advisor, SQL Profiler, and Windows Reliability and Performance MonitorAbility to implement and troubleshoot triggers, views, stored procedures, and data integrity constraintsSecurity clearance level: TS/SCI US citizenship required Role requirements:Facilitate, implement, monitor, and test database backups and recovery methodologiesMonitor and optimize production SQL Server database performanceEnsure database security, integrity, reliability, high availability, and disaster recoveryIdentify and troubleshoot database issues; analyze, design, build, test, and implement solutionsManage file system space, database allocation, disk usage, and plan for capacity and scalabilityParticipate in monthly patching outside core business hoursStrong communication skills, including technical writingAbility to work collaboratively across multiple IT teamsDetail-oriented with strong prioritization skills and commitment to deadlinesExceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesThe likely salary range for this position is $116,813 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
