About the JobLicensed TherapistPosition PurposeThe Licensed Therapist provides high-quality individual, group, and family therapy services to children, adolescents, or adults, depending on the program's population. This role utilizes evidence-based practices to support individuals with substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, and co-occurring conditions. The therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapeutic services, and collaborating with program staff to coordinate comprehensive care and community-based resources.Key Responsibilities:Clinical & Therapeutic Services:Partner with individuals to develop and achieve recovery goals related to medical, psychiatric, and/or substance use disorders.Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities.Complete initial assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing clinical evaluations.Support aftercare planning and follow-up to promote long-term recovery.Provide crisis intervention and management as needed.Caseload Management:Maintain an active caseload and engage individuals in ongoing treatment.Track treatment plans and required documentation to meet funder, regulatory, and program guidelines.Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment progress, goals, and discharge planning.Identify resources to meet individualized client needs and coordinate community support services.Advocate for individuals to ensure access to necessary services and address service gaps.Administrative & Program Support:Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with agency policies.Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors, or staff as required to meet state licensing standards.Complete all required trainings in compliance with program licensure requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education & Licensure:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required).Master's degree in a human services field (preferred).State certification or licensure required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe based on program requirements.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a drug and alcohol treatment setting.Skills & Requirements:Proficiency with standard business software and electronic health record systems.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.Required background clearances, which may include:ACT 33/34 clearances (as required by program).PA State PATCH clearance.About the Company
