A company is looking for a Genetic Counselor II, responsible for providing pediatric clinical genetic counseling services remotely. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessments and medical genetic counseling to patients and their families Collaborate with Geneticists and specialty providers to deliver effective genetic counseling services Conduct crisis intervention regarding genetic conditions and implications for patients and families Required Qualifications Master's degree from an ABGC-accredited genetic counseling training program Genetic Counselor License issued by the State of California Board Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Genetic Counselor Preferred experience in pediatric genetics and knowledge of clinical interpretation of genetic tests
