Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Coordinate shift activities, including bed management, patient flow, and staffing. Serve as a mentor and support clinical staff development. Provide input into the evaluation process of unit caregivers. Demonstrate ability to set priorities and adapt quickly to new situations. Identify and address work-related problems. Clinical Care: Assess patient conditions and needs, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress. Administer medications accurately and safely. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members, and leadership. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care. Serve as a resource for unit-specific best practices.
