Delivery Driver (Part-Time) - Farmers Branch/Dallas, TXTexas Office - Farmers Branch, TX 75229OverviewSalary Range $18.00 - $18.50 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Part Time Job Shift Any Education Level High School Category TransportationDescriptionOur Farmer's Branch, TX Hub is currently seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team!BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.Delivery Driver Shift: Sunday received and sort at Warehouse 8-10 pm start time. Monday, Tuesdays route deliveries as early as 6:00 am with overnight stay in hotel paid by company and Fridays Warehouse Duties morning shift 8:00 am start time.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.Maintain a strong commitment to safety.Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.Extended periods of sitting.QualificationsMinimum Requirements and Employee Expectations:Must be 21+ years of AgeValid driver's licenseAcceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).Background check required.Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company's workflow-related applicationsExperience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
