Investment Data Associate

One of the top Hedge Funds is looking to hire a Data Analyst/Associate. Coverage includes Financials, Consumer, TMT, Healthcare, and Energy/Industrials.The opportunity to turn high-velocity, unstructured alternative data into sector-deep signals that inform investment decisionsYour impact Triangulate investor theses with data analyses that inform entry/exit, sizing, and risk. Build scalable pipelines, features, and tools used across teams; produce promising research. Partner directly with PMs/analysts; deliver time‐critical insights with clear caveats andrecommendations. Evaluate and sequence research requests, translating investment hypotheses into actionabledata analyses. Collaborate within a team of data scientists to design and maintain shared infrastructure,including tooling and ETL/feature pipelines, with testing, CI, observability, versioning, andlineage.Ideal background 2+ years in alternative data, statistics, data science, or quantitative research. Python + SQL proficiency; exceptional data modeling, testing, and tooling. Bridges data and investing - clear communicator who partners with investors to converttechnical depth into decision-driving guidance.
