Service Sales Project Manager - Plumbing

Grunau's Project Managers differentiate themselves and Grunau through excellent project execution. They own their personal development and create strong relationships with our customers. They sell the majority of their own work. Our project managers manage portfolios of "complicated" buildings. As a Grunau Service Sales Project Manager, you will be responsible for building a client base, selling and maintaining preventive maintenance agreements, executing small simple projects, working in a team, and developing strong lasting customer relations.Job SpecificsSales:Get to know people in multiple levels within the organizations they work withConvince customers through actions that they need the Grunau Company and no one else can do what we do or provide what we provideProvide estimates and proposals as requiredFocus on PM work and InspectionsOperations:Communicate with onsite crews daily.Visit the job sites at least once a week.Manage small jobs and day-to-day break fix work.Be the Emergency contact for the customer at any time of day or night.Safety:Review Safety issues facing the team.Review and discuss site specific safety concerns.Investigate all accidents and near misses submitted by their crew.Execute job site safety audits.Financial:Responsible for selling and managing sales volume that meets or exceeds his/her annual P&L budget.Responsible for selling services and PM agreements as well as managing and serving existing accounts and projects.Cross sell all of the other Grunau Services with new and existing customers.Responsible for successful project execution - to include meeting budget estimates and efficiently and accurately tracking change orders.Working with vendors on best pricing and buying of our materials and equipment.Quickly react to scope changes on projects with customers and field teams. Communicate with customer on any additional project costs.People:Work with job coordinators, project managers, and assistant project managers to schedule all required labor.Make sure the crew has the tools and information they need to perform the work efficiently, safely and successfully.Manage disputes and issues that arise with the field crews under their supervision.Qualifications and Experience3-5 years of project management or relevant experience.Plumbing/Mechanical industry experience.Experience providing superior customer service.Capacity to work on a high performing teamAble to price simple mechanical proposals utilizing Grunau's pricing systemMotivated by providing first class customer serviceSkilled at managing many tasks / multitasking.Aptitude for learning new software/systemsPositive attitudeDriven to help teammates to winPhysical Requirements* Possess ability to independently navigate job sites and climb ladders as warranted.Company OverviewIt's what's INSIDE that counts...From construction projects that involve complex mechanical systems to custom service projects that require faster builds and reliable 24-hour service, Grunau is your single source solution.For 105 years, Grunau has been designing, building and maintaining mechanical systems for some buildings in the Milwaukee market.
