In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling secure, responsive, and high-availability web applications tailored for our Banking and Financial Services clients. You will lead end-to-end feature delivery, encompassing both front-end development with React JS and back-end services using Node.js with frameworks like Express or NestJS. Your work will focus on building performant, secure, and compliant solutions that meet the rigorous standards of the financial industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the architecture and delivery of mission-critical applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to modern JavaScript and TypeScript development. You should be an expert in React, including Hooks, Context API, and Suspense, as well as in Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS. Strong proficiency in API design, authentication, authorization, and asynchronous programming patterns is essential. Experience working with both SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis is required, including schema design and migrations. You should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and deployment strategies like blue-green or canary deployments. A security-by-design mindset with experience in regulated environments such as BFSI or FinTech is highly valued. Excellent communication skills are necessary to translate complex technical concepts into clear language for stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable microservices and component-driven user interfaces using React 18+ and Node.js frameworks.Develop resilient REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring schema versioning, backward compatibility, and adherence to best practices.Drive cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.Establish observability through logs, metrics, and traces using OpenTelemetry, and define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets to monitor system health.Apply security best practices by implementing controls based on OWASP Top 10, secure coding standards, and token-based authentication methods such as OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.Implement data protection measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, secrets management, and compliance with data privacy standards like GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and SOX.Maintain high test coverage with tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Supertest; optimize web performance by improving Core Web Vitals, server-side caching, and database queries.Mentor and guide engineering team members through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices to uplift overall coding standards.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, compliance officers, and site reliability engineers to ensure timely delivery of features and projects.Break down project roadmaps into manageable increments, manage technical debt, and ensure production readiness and stability.BenefitsAt AceStack LLC, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
