System Engineer

Description: Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced System Engineer to join their rapidly growing team! Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer’s computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. As a System Engineer L0, you will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP. The candidate must be available to support a 24x7 mission operation with a weekly schedule, working either Day Shift (0545-1345), Swing Shift (1345-2145), or Mid Shift (2145-0545) to include weekends and holidays. Requirements: Required: Required Skills: Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line Basic troubleshooting experience Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Preferred: Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python) Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration Familiarity with Apache NiFi Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies Basic knowledge of network protocols Technology Resource Experts, LLC offers the very best compensation packages and the flexibility to let our employees decide what’s most important to them.
