Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the local and regional marketBuild and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, and referralsConduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and recommend appropriate technology solutionsPrepare and present proposals in collaboration with internal technical teamsManage relationships from initial contact through close, ensuring a smooth handoff to implementationTrack activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM toolsRepresent The Tech Laboratory at networking events, community events, and industry functionsStay informed on industry trends, competitors, and evolving client needsPrepare and deliver Lunch & Learn presentations to educate prospective clients and generate new business opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in business development, sales, or account management (B2B preferred)Strong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable with outbound prospecting and consultative sellingAbility to understand and explain technical concepts at a high level (IT/MSP experience is a plus, but not required)Highly organized, self-directed, and accountableLocal to Midland, MI or surrounding areas
