You will ensure all measurements and fittings are completed properly, accurately, and efficiently so they can wear the uniform proudly. At GALLS, we are PROUD to Serve, and it all starts on our Production and Value-Added Service Team.What You Will DoRead and accurately identify the customer’s needs per the Work Instruction DocumentTake necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations, with the ability to problem-solve individual sizing issuesOperate a heat press safely and efficientlyPerform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency, to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping, and applying patchesOperate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlinesOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsWhat You Will BringHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredPrevious experience in Alterations preferred. GALLS will train!Well-versed in industrial Sewing machines, preferred.
