Events Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to join the Distinguished Vineyards Argyle team! Reporting to the DTC Director, this role is responsible for: Event Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual events calendar. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all winery events, ensuring they align with the winery's brand and standards. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including vendor coordination, staffing, set-up, and tear-down. Ensure a high-quality guest experience at all events. Revenue and Sales Growth: Drive event revenue growth by developing and implementing strategies to increase attendance and sales. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote events and maximize ticket sales. Analyze event performance and make data-driven decisions to improve future events. Team Management: Lead an hourly team of event staff during an event and event setup and breakdown. Coordinate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service during events. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Member and Guest Engagement: Create and maintain strong relationships with wine club members and guests. Develop exclusive events and experiences for wine club members to enhance membership value. Act as the primary point of contact for private event clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring events are profitable and within financial targets. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs. This role is based in Dundee, Oregon and is a Full-Time position, working Monday- Friday with some weekend as needed and the incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more! Minimum Qualifications: Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, preferably in the wine or hospitality industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Passion for wine and knowledge of wine industry trends is a plus. Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
