Shipping and Packing Associate - Retail

We are looking for motivated, proactive and dependable Part-Time Shipping Associates to join our retail shipping department. We are a service provider catering to luxury retailers. Our position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are key to success. We pride ourselves in packaging and shipping retail goods such as clothing, cosmetics, shoes, housewares etc., to customers utilizing strategic packing guidelines so there is no damage upon its arrival and is displayed in pristine fashion. Our commitment to our clients and customers is same day service, making this a fast-paced environment in order to meet our daily productivity goals. Requirements include but are not limited to: · Quick and efficient learner who takes pride in accuracy and quality. · Ability to multi-task repeatedly with attention to detail and minimal errors. · Work unsupervised and be a self-starter. · Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and people skills. · Ability to stand for long periods of time up to an entire day of work. · Able to stoop, kneel, bend and stretch to reach items on shelving below and overhead. · Great Customer Service Skills. · Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. · Familiarity and comfort using a PC computer and general software with FedEx or UPS manifesting experience a plus. · Enjoys working with others and able to adapt to a changing environment. · Having a "do whatever's necessary for the job" positive and fun attitude. · Excited to contribute to a growing company, high end retail operations and team. · Desire to improve personal skills, responsibilities, and role with company growth. Responsibilities include: Packing, manifesting, scanning items, tracking shipments, running reports, quality control, customer service, gift wrapping, stocking supplies, maintaining standards and providing "same day service" and problem solving. Flexibility a must. 6-32 hours a week depending on volume. regular shifts are between the hours of 8 am- 6 pm.
