Senior DevOps Engineer — TrunkBased Continuous Delivery

Our clients, no matter how small, are serviced by our Client Service team to ensure we are always working to exceed their expectations.Why this role exists Help our teams move from a PR driven delivery to a trunk based Continuous Delivery with automations. You’ll improve, implement, and operate the pipelines, deployment slots, and guardrails that keep the environment and releases safe. You’ll lead and coach other engineers by establishing team pairs and thorough testing and design reviews.  What you’ll deliver Faster production workflow for the development team High quality, accurate, and efficient code across the team A lead by example approach, growing the team by showing them your hands on ability to operate at scale A faster overall development workflow from scoping a need to a delivered solution or feature An expert level understanding of best practices in security and data protection An expert level understanding of infrastructure design and ability to integrate our features across our platform to work seamlessly An expert level understanding of both internal and external user experience across our platform, with a focus on continuous improvement of the UX, UI, latency, and overall server and database performance to maximize the experience You are Conscientious: Keep promises, maintain honesty, and help others grow. Hands-on: Lead by example and debug code, deploy and optimize Azure instances yourself. UX focused: Optimize the best user experience, know it’s the small things that matter most. Collaborative: Influence others by including them in the decision process, team pairing, honest review of code and performance, and factual data. Required experience 7+ years in a fast-paced development environment with a similar tech stack; 3+ years in DevOps or a hands-on team leader role with cloud infrastructure. Git expertise (branch protections, rulesets, automations and merge queues). GitHub Actions or equivalent experience. LAMP: PHP/composer, Apache, MySQL; Linux fundamentals. Experience with Azure and MySQL DB upgrades, security, optimizations, and credentialing at scale. Monitoring: health checks, metrics, tracing, alerting; SLOs as release gates. Nice to have Infrastructure hardening experience App Service or Key Vault experience Container experience API development experience. Compensation & benefits Base: $90,000–$120,000 (US, remote). Benefits: PTO, 401(k) with company match, healthcare, free vision & dental.
