Do you want to have an impact on every single Apple product?As a RF Software Engineer on the Cellular FW team, you will be at the center of the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware effort within a silicon design group responsible for crafting and productizing innovative cellular SoCs! This position requires someone comfortable with all aspects of embedded software development, that thrives in a multifaceted multi-functional organization, is not afraid to debate ideas openly, and is flexible enough to shift on constantly evolving requirements.Understanding of design principles to meet tight real time deadlines is a plus. Familiarity with other Radio technologies such as WiFi/BT, etc. Experience with live network cellular device issue triage. Familiarity with 3GPP regulatory test cases. Experience with the production of cellular devices.Minimum BS with 10 years of relevant industry experience Solid understanding of mobile communications in 4G/5G 3GPP protocols and radio architecture and Interfaces. Proven knowledge of RF transceiver and RF front-end component's control for 4G/5G radio. Strong understanding of RF calibrations for compensating RF impairments. Deep understanding of software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals. Excellent in embedded C/C++ programming, and working experience with compilers, build and source code control tools. Experience with using RF Test equipment for RF validation and debugging. Proficiency with debugging in embedded software systems.
