Field Service Technician / CNC Applications EngineerLocation: Pacific Northwest - Seattle WA or Portland OR preferredBase Salary: $80,000 - $100,000Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k)Employment Type: Full-TimeA leading manufacturer of high-precision tool holding solutions supporting CNC machining and advanced manufacturing environments is seeking a Field Service Technician / CNC Applications Engineer to support distributors and end users across the Pacific Northwest Region.Field Service Technician / CNC Applications Engineer Responsibilities:• Provide technical support across a range of high-precision tooling products and machining accessories to distributors and end users across the Pacific Northwest region.• Plan and deliver hands-on training sessions for sales teams, distributors, and end users.• Perform on-site installation, setup, and commissioning of equipment.• Provide high-level customer support, including troubleshooting and responding to technical inquiries via phone and on-site.• Maintain accurate service records in CRM systems and support trade shows, demonstrations, and customer-facing events.Field Service Technician / CNC Applications Engineer Requirements:• Proven experience in a field service, applications, or technical support role within CNC machining, metal cutting, precision tooling, or machine tool environments is preferred.• Strong understanding of metal cutting, CNC equipment, tooling systems, and machining processes, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites for installation, training, and technical support.• Ability to train customers and deliver technical presentations confidently.• A degree in an engineering discipline is advantageous but not required.
