DISH STATION RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of all plate ware, flatware and glassware. The Dishwasher is also responsible for the cleaning of all pots, pans and utensils used to prepare food items for our Guests, as well as maintaining the cleanliness both inside & outside the building. Dishwashers are also responsible for some aspects of prep including but not limited to cutting French fries, marinating chicken wings, wrapping and labeling of finished prep items. This position is entrusted to uphold the safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards of our restaurant.Main Responsibilities:1. Report to work on time and in full uniform.2. Exhibits a positive attitude and is a Team player.3. Maintain a clean and organized workstation.4. Proper use & maintenance of the machine (health department and manufacturer specifications).5. Proper use & set-up of the three compartment sink.6. Maintain clean wash water at all times.7. Stock and use all cleaning supply chemicals as specified by MSDS.8. Maintain clean and dry floors, including mat placement and cleaning.9. Garbage can placement, emptying, and cleaning.10. Assist the line by bringing up products or dishes that may be needed.11. Ensure 100% cleanliness and sanitation of utensils, plate ware, flatware and glassware.12. Complete projects as assigned by ManagementTools:1. Knowledge of the mechanics of the dish machine.2. Knowledge of the chemicals you are working with.3. Knowledge of proper washing procedure for all items washed in the area.4. Knowledge of the placement of dishes on the line to assist in restocking.WORKING CONDITIONS:
