Maintenance & Reliability ManagerLocation: Mount Pleasant, WISalary: $120,000-$150,000 plus bonusType: Permanent; full-timePosition SummaryA leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Manager to lead and transform maintenance operations within a high-volume, highly automated production environment. This role is responsible for building and sustaining a best-in-class maintenance and reliability program that supports safety, quality, and operational performance.This is a highly visible leadership position requiring both strategic vision and hands-on technical capability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of transitioning organizations from reactive maintenance to a proactive, data-driven reliability model.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Reliability LeadershipLead the development and execution of a comprehensive maintenance and asset reliability strategyDrive transformation to preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practicesEstablish a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvementProgram Development & ExecutionDesign and implement PM, PdM, and reliability-centered maintenance programsDevelop maintenance standards, SOPs, and troubleshooting protocolsLead root cause failure analysis and corrective action initiativesTechnical OversightProvide hands-on technical leadership across:CNC machining and multi-axis equipmentPLC-controlled automation and roboticsHydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsSupport troubleshooting and resolution of complex equipment issuesSystems & Continuous ImprovementOptimize and manage CMMS systems, including workflows, asset tracking, and reportingEstablish and monitor KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, uptime, planned vs. reactive work)Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance cost performanceLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop maintenance teams across multiple shiftsBuild technical capability through training and workforce developmentFoster a high-performance culture focused on safety and executionCapital Projects & FacilitiesLead equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and capital projectsOversee contractors, vendors, and facility infrastructurePartner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership\QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field10+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments5–10+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teamsCNC machining and automated equipmentPLC systems and industrial controlsHydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systemsReliability engineering and CMMS platformsProven success implementing PM/PdM programs and improving equipment uptimeStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsBackground in precision machining, heavy industrial, or highly automated manufacturingExperience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six SigmaReliability certifications (e.g., CMRP)Why This RoleOpportunity to build and transform a maintenance organizationHigh level of visibility and impact within the operationStrong support and investment in reliability and continuous improvement initiativesBenefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, paid time off, holiday pay, and more
