Description DSHS IT System Administration - Journey The Department of Social and Health Services is seeking a System Administratorto join our Service Desk which provides statewide technical support to the Economic Services Administration , Community Services Division. This is an excellent opportunity to use your IT skills to support the technical needs of our employees.This is an internal DSHS opportunity.Some Of What You'll DoProvide remote systems administration involving systems analysis, planning, and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware, software systems, and systems environmentEnsure security and availability of the Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES), Electronic Jobs Automated System, and Barcode systemDiagnose and repair server hardware and provide server administrationReceive remote technical assistance call requests through AvayaProvide network support services related to Local Area Network involving planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of physical network componentsProvide primary technical and customer support for Economic Services Administration IT SystemsParticipate in and lead regional and/or statewide projectsAdministration of mobile phones/communication devicesManage auxiliary IT devices and software resourcesWe're Looking For Professionals Who HaveA Bachelor's Degree including nine semester or 15 quarter hours of computer science courses AND four years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in information technology analysis, system maintenance, or troubleshooting/problem resolution experience, or analyzing, designing or programming computer systems applications or databases. ORAn Associate's degree or completion of an accredited vocational training program in an information technology or related program AND six years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in information technology analysis, system maintenance, or troubleshooting/problem resolution experience or analyzing, designing or programming computer systems applications or databases.OREight years of Information Technology experience.Experience may substitute year for year of the required education.Concurrently: a minimum of three years (within the last (4) years) experience implementing, maintaining, supporting, and administeringmultiple Windows 10 workstations or newer, MS Windows 2019 Server or newer, Microsoft Office 2019 or O365 or newer.In this job, you will primarily have remote interaction with users, vendors, offsite personnel, and management via phone or using Remote Assistance/RDP to resolve complex issues.
