ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enroll & participate in our U.S. Department of Labor recognized Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program via Ivy Tech course work and on-the-job training; as specified in our Standards of Apprenticeship AgreementAssist with repairs and/or modifications to all tools and fixturesAssist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as requiredSafely operate all tool room equipmentAssist with assembling and disassembling tooling, dies, gauges, etc.Assist with trouble shooting and resolution of tooling issuesWork with various materials such as general steels, tool steels, and advance high strength steelsWork with a variety of tooling machinery; lathes, mills, grinders, drill press, jigs & fixtures, CNC equipment, TIG welding, etc.Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignmentMust be able to work any shiftQualifications And RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
