Backed by strong capital reserves, we are aggressively expanding our capabilities through organic growth and strategic acquisition.Our vision is to be the world’s best company - defined by having the world’s best people.Position PurposeUnder the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technician maintains company machines, building and grounds by performing preventive and corrective maintenance as directed.Full-Time, M-F1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pmSalary Range$34-43 hourly DOEMachines You Will Work WithTsugami SwissStar SwissMiyanosMori Seiki Lathes & MillsDoosan Lathes & MillsRobodrill MillsBar FeedersHardinge LathesWickman & Davenport Multi-SpindlesHaas MillsOkuma LathesEssential FunctionsPerform general maintenance to maintain structures, electrical, heating and cooling systems and plumbingRepair or replace parts on mechanical equipment such as all production machines (screw, cut off, CNC and drill presses)Repair building, construct bins, shop benches, partitions, make crates, repair and replace electrical switches and small motors, controls, replace fuses and lighting equipment and put in drop cords.Perform corrective maintenance as directed by Maintenance Team LeaderResponsibilitiesThis list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Employees are and will be held accountable for all duties of the job.Lathe and Mill (Miyano, Doosan, Okuma, Tsugami, Star, Haas, Robo Drill, Wickman, Traub, and Modern) trouble-shoot and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. knowledge of PLC trouble-shoot and repair.knowledge of Fanuc navigation and diagnosis.Knowledge of proximity switches, reed switches, micro switches, encoders, servo motors, motors starters, contacts, and transformers.Knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with general repairs to machines and building to include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. (including high volt three phase wiring 240vac and 480vac and low volt 5vdc to 48vdc) and carpentry, plumbing, welding and fabricating. Monitor repairs and schedule service to forklifts, plow truck, and box truck to maintain safe operational manners.Control inventory of repair and replacement parts.Maintain preventative maintenance throughout plant per generated schedule to include all paperwork and document maintenanceAssist with all phases of production work when time is availableMust be quality conscious and continuously look for quality improvementsRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
