Driver Recruiter Pay: $29–$32/hour Location: On Site in Mobile, AL About the Role We are seeking a driven and resourceful Driver Recruiter to lead recruiting efforts for independent contractors, owner operators, subhaulers, and small trucking companies. This role plays a key part in building a reliable pipeline of qualified driving partners to support ongoing operational growth. This is a 6–9 month contract opportunity, with strong potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. This position is fully on-site and requires a hands-on, proactive recruiting approach. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute full-cycle recruiting activities from sourcing through onboardingIdentify, attract, and engage independent contractors, owner operators, and small fleet partners using both traditional and creative sourcing strategiesConduct high-volume outreach including cold calling, lead follow-up, and inbound response managementProactively recruit in the field at driver-heavy locations including truck stops, fueling stations, maintenance shops, and eateriesScreen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and overall business fitEducate candidates on compensation structures, contract terms, and operational expectationsReview and pre-qualify candidates by evaluating MVRs, equipment specifications, and required documentationPartner closely with Safety and Operations teams to ensure all compliance requirements are metTrack recruiting activity, maintain accurate pipeline data, and provide daily status updatesBuild strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to support ongoing hiring needs QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience recruiting owner operators, independent contractors, or company driversHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferredProven success using creative sourcing strategies to generate qualified candidate pipelinesStrong outbound calling skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectivelySolid understanding of DOT regulations and driver qualification standardsKnowledge of state and federal employment laws related to recruitingHighly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and professional presenceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Bilingual Spanish preferred Why Join UsCompetitive hourly pay: $29–$32/hourOpportunity to transition into a full-time, permanent roleHigh-impact position directly supporting growth and driver capacityFast-paced, team-oriented environment with clear goals and visibility Apply Today If you are a motivated recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with independent business owners and drivers, we want to hear from you. #PDVIP Pay Range: 29.00-32.00 per_hour, General Benefits: Medical, dental, life, and vision insurance offered.
