REMOTE SENSING ENGINEERMatrix Research is currently seeking a Remote Sensing Engineer for our growing business in Dayton, Ohio. This position is onsite at WPAFB in Dayton, OHHOW WILL THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE?Mission: You can help us fulfill our mission by executing advanced research involving image processing, feature extraction, characterization, and AI/machine learning.WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?RequiredExperience in one or more of the following technical areas:Signal and image processingStatistical pattern recognition, computer vision, data science Algorithm implementation and optimizationAI/ML with emphasis on NeRFExperience with programming:Must have experience with research and development using Matlab and/or PythonWillingness to learn other languages as neededA Bachelor's degree (in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related) with five years of experience, or another combination of education and experienceApplicants must be US citizens capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearanceApplicants must be willing to work at WPAFB as their primary locationDesiredExperience with visible and infrared image processingPractical experience applying state of the art image processing algorithms on measured dataFamiliarity with exploitation algorithms including detection, tracking, and characterizationAI/ML experience with practical application of NeRFMaster's or Doctorate degreeActive TS/SCI security clearanceWHO IS MATRIX RESEARCH?Matrix Research is an employee-owned, small business advancing the state of the art in radar systems, radio frequency, and sensor exploitation technologies.
