The company's technology enables users to present and collaborate seamlessly—without apps, dongles, or cables.About the RoleWe are seeking a Lead Software QA to take ownership of validating new features across desktop apps, cloud services, and device firmware. This role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with leadership responsibilities, including orchestrating development testing for our Orchestrate and other SaaS products and guiding our Shenzhen QA team. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring product quality while serving as a bridge between engineering, product management, and global QA.What You’ll DoPerform manual and automated black-box testing: functional, performance/stress/load, and deployment.Create test plans and test cases from Marketing Requirement Docs and Software Development specs.Import, manage, and execute test cases in TestLink; track results and coverage.Lead testing for ScreenBeam Orchestrate (including development testing and maintaining a 50-seat student lab setup with associated equipment).Lead testing of future education Software-as-a-Service products.Generate test summary reports with clear coverage metrics.Coordinate and direct day-to-day testing with the Shenzhen QA team; transfer product knowledge and QA plans.Interface with project management to report test status, bugs, and risks.Review and provide feedback on product documentation.What You’ll BringExcellent communication skills: articulate issues verbally and in writing, provide crisp reproduction steps, and collaborate effectively with developers, firmware engineers, and product managers.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (required).2+ years of software QA experience (preferred).Experience with TestLink (required).Ability to work flexibly with Shenzhen team members across time zones.Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.Must work on-site in San Jose, CA.Work AuthorizationAuthorization to work in the U.S. is required.
