Our shop maintains a consistent backlog of work and strong car count, allowing technicians to flag significant hours each week. We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. Position Overview The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining European vehicles while working efficiently within a team environment. This role focuses on performing high-quality repairs and maintenance while collaborating with the Lead Master Technician and Service Advisor to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient workflow. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working on European vehicles and wants to grow within a high-performing independent shop. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche vehicles Perform maintenance and repair services including brakes, suspension, cooling systems, and engine repairs Conduct vehicle inspections and report findings through digital inspection systems Work closely with the service advisor to ensure accurate repair recommendations Follow manufacturer repair procedures and best practices Maintain clean and organized work areas Accurately document repairs and diagnostic findings Collaborate with the Lead Master Technician when additional diagnostic support is needed Maintain productivity and efficiency within the shop workflow Qualifications 3–7 years of automotive repair experience preferred Experience working on European vehicles preferred but not required Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Basic electrical diagnostic ability ASE certifications are a plus but not required Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Valid driver's license Compensation Structure Technicians are compensated through a flat-rate flag hour system with strong earning potential. Top technicians in our shop consistently earn six-figure incomes through productivity and experience. Additional shop support hours may be allocated for complex repairs to ensure technicians are fairly compensated when additional time is required.
