Join a supportive healthcare team dedicated to enhancing patient well-being and fostering a warm, welcoming environment for both staff and patients.ResponsibilitiesAssess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions in accordance with clinic policies.Ensure pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration.Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.Document nursing interventions and patient responses.Plan and complete work efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.Ensure accurate billing and assist with office procedures.Prepare and administer medications as directed, documenting any adverse effects.Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.Make referrals to other providers and facilities as directed.Manage patient communications, including triaging phone calls and reporting test results with provider instructions.Maintain exam rooms, replenish supplies, and monitor medication closets.Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.May float to other departments as needed.Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision, ensuring correct dosage, route, and technique.Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN, or certification as a Medical Assistant, eligible to work in the region.Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association required.Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment in the Midwest region of the United States.
