Job Title: Pizza Maker Assistant Job Summary: The Pizza Maker Assistant supports the pizza-making team by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting in food preparation. This role is essential to ensuring efficient kitchen operations and delivering high-quality products to customers. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing pizza ingredients (cutting vegetables, portioning meats, shredding cheese, etc.) Help assemble pizzas according to company recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, slicers, mixers, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage spaces Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed Restock ingredients and supplies throughout shifts Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely order completion Qualifications: Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and recipes Team-oriented with a positive attitude Basic understanding of food safety practices Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment Work Schedule: Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation: Hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Additional Information: This position operates in an at-will employment environment in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
