Manager - Environmental Services
Provide overall direction and supervision of the Environmental Services Team. Supervises Environmental Services Shift Managers, recommends projects necessary to maintain and improve buildings. Assists in the creation and maintenance of facilities programs to ensure financial stewardship, best practices, prompt service delivery and efficient use and care of all assets. Responsible for managing all aspects of a team including but not limited to, disciplining, recommending team members for advancement and assessing needs of other areas and directing resources to fulfill those needs.
Essential Functions:
Provide exceptional guest service to all customers at all times.
Assignment of tasks to team members and management of all EVS resources.
Is a resource to the team, though training and leading builds a cohesive team that is capable of functioning with little direct supervision.
Supports all RCGR Team Members to ensure guest needs are met and their visit is exceptional.
Is responsible for all specific team members, reviews and disciplinary needs.
Manages a QA program that ensures our facility is always clean and safe and provides a positive experience for all Customers.
Will provide restorative services when emergencies arise and may need to work alternate hours.
Must be able to direct and manage the resources available to them and ensure the right number of team members are on site for their respective needs and schedule additional staff for special events.
Is to be a cohesive part of a service-oriented team with a positive attitude that is quality minded and customer focused.
Must be able to work with all individuals from all levels and take direction from other areas without argument but also be able to advocate for the Facilities team and ensure operations are within the FAC/EVS guidelines.
Must be courteous, knowledgeable, honest, credible, reliable and respectful of all.
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience required.
Previous facilities or environmental services experience preferred.
Previous supervisor or management experience in a 24/7 operation preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and direct team members.
Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
