The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the strategic and tactical oversight of all talent-related functions. The CPO will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for attracting, engaging, rewarding, developing, and retaining a large, diverse team. This includes team management, organizational leadership, performance management, human resources, staffing, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading large, complex initiatives within school systems, exceptional people management skills, and a proven track record of sound, data-driven decision-making. They should also have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to lead through a lens of anti-racism.Candidates for the CPO role at the company should have at least 8 years of professional work experience in a related field, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and a commitment to educational equity and excellence. The role requires a leader with a background in talent management, including experience in recruitment, human resources, performance management, and employee relations. The CPO will be expected to have a strong customer service orientation, superior communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines. A systems-level strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how talent strategy can impact organizational culture and long-term performance is essential.
