Senior Engineer – Retail Displays & In-Store TechnologyA growing experiential retail design and manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the development of custom retail fixtures, displays, and in-store technology platforms for nationally recognized beauty and consumer brands.This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to engineer innovative retail environments and branded experiences for major retail partners. The ideal candidate comes directly from the retail display, POP/POS, fixture manufacturing, or experiential marketing industry and has experience leading complex, high-visibility programs from concept through production.ResponsibilitiesLead engineering execution for custom retail displays, fixtures, kiosks, and branded in-store environmentsTranslate creative concepts into manufacturable engineering solutions while maintaining design intentDevelop detailed mechanical designs, production drawings, BOMs, and technical documentationPartner closely with design, project management, production, and client-facing teams throughout the project lifecycleSupport prototyping, fabrication, testing, and production readiness for national retail programsEvaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and cost efficiencies across projectsManage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentTroubleshoot engineering and production challenges during development and rolloutContribute to process improvements, engineering standards, and operational efficienciesQualifications8+ years of experience within the retail display, POP/POS, fixture manufacturing, experiential marketing, or related industryPrior experience with companies specializing in custom retail displays, beauty fixtures, or branded environments strongly preferredStrong background engineering metal, wood, acrylic, MDF, sheet metal, or mixed-material display systemsExperience supporting programs for beauty, cosmetics, retail, or luxury consumer brands preferredProficiency with SolidWorks and related CAD platformsExperience creating production documentation, BOMs, and prototype packagesStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and production workflowsAbility to balance engineering quality, speed, cost, and manufacturability in a client-driven environmentExperience collaborating across engineering, design, fabrication, and account management teamsPreferred BackgroundExperience coming from a competitor or adjacent experiential retail/display companyExposure to high-volume retail rollouts, cosmetic displays, or interactive retail technologyLeadership or mentorship experience within engineering teams is a plusFamiliarity with PDM systems, workflow optimization, or engineering process improvement initiatives preferredAdditional InformationOpen to Engineer and Senior Engineer level candidates depending on experienceAlso interested in professionals with adjacent Project Management or Account Management experience within the industryOpportunity to work on nationally recognized retail and beauty brand programs under tight timelines and high visibility environments
