Position Overview:
We are seeking a Deburr Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and process sheets to understand specifications and requirements.
Set up and operate all machines in the deburring department.
Perform deburring operations using hand and power tools to remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections.
Locate and use appropriate gauges as needed to verify part quality.
Train other team members on proper deburring techniques and processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
Previous manufacturing or machining experience preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Full-time position; 2nd shift position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.90 - $23.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
