Others enjoy solving the most complex technical challenges in the industry.GBA is seeking a Wastewater Engineer - Technical SME to serve as a senior technical resource for our Water Environment teams across multiple regions. This role supports complex wastewater projects, provides high-level technical guidance, and helps strengthen engineering capability across our practice.If you enjoy applying deep technical expertise to difficult engineering problems, this role provides the platform to do it.What You'll Do:Provide senior technical guidance on complex wastewater treatment and infrastructure projectsServe as a technical advisor to engineering teams across multiple officesSupport advanced treatment design, modeling, and system optimizationGuide solutions for technically challenging projectsMentor experienced engineers and share discipline knowledgeContribute to improved engineering standards and practicesWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, biological engineering, agricultural engineering, or a related field.12+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Multi-state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in KS, MO, NE, or TX preferred.Why This Role MattersYou will help elevate the technical quality of wastewater engineering across projects, teams, and communitiesPhysical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.Ability to sit, stand, and walk project sites for prolonged periods.Potential need to be able to travel to job sites occasionally (minimum once per month).Why You'll Love Working Here At GBA, you'll be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and collaboration.
