Field Project Associate (Field Merchandiser)
Field Project AssociateThe Field Project Associate supports store operations by helping keep projects organized and running smoothly. This role works in the field and reports to the Project Manager, acting as a link between store teams, Operations, and Procurement.The primary focus of this position is to support assigned stores with merchandising and basic operational tasks. The Field Project Associate will travel between stores in their territory to complete tasks and small projects and may occasionally travel to other Rocky's Ace Hardware locations. This role will also assist with store remodels as directed by the Project Manager.Essential DutiesFollow and demonstrate Rocky's Core ValuesExecute planogram and category updates in assigned stores (typically twice per year)Support stores in maintaining merchandising and operational standardsIdentify merchandising issues and communicate findings to the Project ManagerBuild positive working relationships with store teams and support center partnersAssist with seasonal merchandising changesServe as a point of contact for stores regarding planogram and category changesHelp assemble products such as grills, outdoor power equipment, and wheelbarrowsMaintain Carhartt Shop standards in select storesProvide weekly updates and work plans to the Project ManagerAssist with store remodels as part of the remodel teamComplete other duties as needed to support the businessQualifications2–5 years of retail experience1–2 years of merchandising experience preferredExperience using retail technology (POS systems, computers, mobile devices)Basic experience reading and executing planogramsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable traveling regularly between assigned storesReliable transportation requiredAbility to stand, walk, and sit for extended periodsAbility to lift 25 lbs. or more on a regular basisStrong honesty, integrity, and work ethicAbility to stay focused and manage multiple tasksEducation & ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent preferred OR a combination of relevant education and work experience that provides the required skills.
