Through culturally responsive programming and strategic partnerships, EDACT supports workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and pathways to economic stability for communities across the Twin Cities and beyond.EDACT is currently implementing the Southeast Asian Workforce Equity Initiative, a DEED-funded workforce development program that serves Southeast Asian communities through training, career readiness, financial literacy, and employment support.Position OverviewEDACT is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven, and people-centered Fractional Operations & Case Manager to support workforce development programming, Workforce One (WF1) reporting, participant case management, community engagement, and organizational operations.This role is ideal for an individual who understands Minnesota workforce systems, thrives in fast-paced nonprofit environments, and enjoys working directly with diverse communities and program participants.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit and engage Southeast Asian participants for workforce programmingConduct participant intake, onboarding, eligibility review, and follow-upSupport participants with job readiness, resume development, interview preparation, and job search activitiesMaintain accurate participant records and case notesManage participant tracking, milestones, and exits into employmentPerform Workforce One (WF1) data entry and reportingEnsure compliance with DEED workforce grant requirementsTrack enrollments, services, milestones, exits, and participant outcomesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and grant reporting activitiesSupport outreach and community engagement effortsSupport EDACT organizational operations and virtual team coordinationAssist grants and program teams with administrative and operational supportMaintain organized documentation, digital records, and reporting systemsSupport leadership with special projects and operational coordinationQualificationsStrong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Workforce One (WF1) is REQUIREDExperience working with workforce development, case management, or DEED-funded programs preferredUnderstanding of nonprofit operations, compliance, ethics, and community-centered service deliveryAbility to work effectively with people of color and individuals from diverse cultural backgroundsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly, warm, professional, and people-centered personalityStrong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyComfortable working in both virtual and in-person environmentsExperience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheetsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredMust be willing to work from the office and meet participants in Minneapolis and the surrounding communitiesMust successfully pass a background checkEducationAssociate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Workforce Development, Community Development, or related field preferred. Experience supporting Southeast Asian, immigrant, refugee, or Under-resourced communitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Southeast Asian, immigrant, refugee, or Under-resourced communitiesBilingual or multilingual skills are a plusExperience in workforce development, nonprofit operations, or employment servicesExperience supporting grants, reporting, or community-based initiativesCompensation & OpportunityThis is a 1099 contractor role with flexible/fractional scheduling.
