Job Title : Technical WriterLocation : Brooklyn, NY-OnsiteDuration : Long-TermJob Summary: Labor Category: Information Technology (IT) SpecialistGeneral Experience: Seven years of subject matter experience and expertise in Information Technology (IT ) systemsFunctional Description: Analyses and studies Information Technology (IT) systems, infrastructure, and applications. Involved in conceptualizing and implementing new IT initiatives. Expert in researching and supporting emerging IT concepts and systems. Providing support and technical expertise on multiple customer IT systems. Providing specialized expertise in managing, maintaining, and enhancing IT systems for optimum use. Support customer in adopting new IT concepts and streamlining IT as a service. Works independently without direct supervision.Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science, or business and seven (7) years of experience performing the foregoing functions or a High School diploma and ten (10) years of experience performing the foregoing functions. Industry IT certifications preferred.Mandatory Skillsets:Experienced Technical writer with 5 plus years of experience in software applications and systems documentation.Experience in handling multiple application development lifecycle documentation.Experience in Project Management Methodologies of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid development methodologiesExpertise in documenting applications for architectural details in MS World and MS Visio.Expertise in MS Project and EXCEL tools.Preferred skillset:Certified PMP.Experience in working with local, state, or federal govt.
