Assistant Administrative

Position Summary:The Assistant Administrative is a member of an office support team responsible for providing administrative and material support to Pilots. The Assistant has face-to-face and electronic mail interaction with the Pilot population and other JetBlue support offices.Essential Responsibilities:Pilot leave of absence and On the Job Injury (OJI) coordinatorAdministratively responsible for maintaining Pilot dependability and performance documentation, as well as managing the associated Crewmember electronic filesAssist in coordination of changes to pilot schedules, qualifications, pay, and dependabilityProcesses expense reports for PilotsAdministers parking programDistributes mail and email notifications to PilotsCreates informational items for updates, newsletters, and emailsInterfaces with different departments in support of Pilot requirements or needsPrioritizes, assigns, and tracks work requests to different departments in support of Pilot requirementsPlans and sets up meetings and events/functions for Pilots and Supervisory CrewOrders office materials and pilot suppliesOther duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) DiplomaOne (1) year of administrative support experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and OutlookDemonstrating time and organizational management skills when dealing with constant time sensitive requestsExperience organizing/coordinating projects while providing exceptional customer serviceAble to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information in a professional mannerWillingness to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to the daily needs of the operationAvailable for occasional overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required. (Sedentary)Compensation:The base pay range for this position is between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour.
