Payment Posting Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist to join our healthcare revenue cycle team. This role is responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and supporting efficient billing operations.Responsibilities:Post insurance and patient payments including EOBs, ERAs, checks, and credit card transactionsApply payments accurately to patient accountsIdentify and resolve denials, short pays, overpayments, and payment discrepanciesReconcile daily payment batchesProcess refunds and adjustments according to guidelinesMaintain accurate payment records while ensuring HIPAA complianceCollaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve account issuesSupport audits and documentation requestsQualifications:1–3 years of medical or dental payment posting experienceExperience with healthcare billing workflows and revenue cycle operationsKnowledge of EOBs, ERAs, and payment reconciliationExperience with Epic or similar EHR/billing systems preferredStrong attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills
