Experienced Litigation Paralegal

Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea LLC, a well‑established Louisiana law firm with a strong litigation practice, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our New Orleans office. This position supports attorneys handling complex civil litigation across the firm’s core practice areas, including casualty, medical malpractice, transportation, commercial, insurance defense, and general litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys through all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appealsConduct factual research, gather records, and assist with witness preparationDraft and revise correspondence, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and pleadingsManage discovery, including document tracking, review, organization, and productionMaintain case files, litigation calendars, and deadlinesPrepare deposition summaries, exhibit lists, and trial notebooksCoordinate communication with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counselPerform legal research using Westlaw or similar platformsE‑file documents in Louisiana state and federal courtsProvide support during hearings, depositions, and trial as neededQualificationsParalegal certificate or degree (ABA‑approved program preferred)3+ years of litigation experienceStrong writing, editing, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support softwareExperience with e‑discovery platforms Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff
