Inside Sales Assistant
Job Overview:
ComNav Engineering's Sales team is seeking an Inside Sales Assistant with specific skills in sales relations and reporting. The ability to multitask or "switch hats" is an ideal trait. This position specifically involves order entry, managing sales reports, processing weekly shipments [domestic and international], answering phones, communicating directly with company reps and customers and working with production to manage backlog capacity. Candidate for hire will be responsible for daily sales transactions, including customer relations, for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing new order contracts
Sales order entry
Generating weekly revenue reports from automated sales software
Generating monthly commission reports and updating reps
Direct communications with customers and providing order status updates
Answering phones/reception tasks
Processing domestic and international shipments
Navigating and providing updates within customer-specific sales portals
Assist in booking travel for Sales Manager
Qualifications:
Experience with MS Windows/Office, EXCEL is a MUST! Please do not apply if you're not comfortable navigating and multitasking between multiple spreadsheets.
Experience with an accounting and/or sales system software is ideal (familiarity with GL accounts, data entry, etc)
Literacy in FAR and DFARS regulations ideal but not required to start (training will be provided and is a necessary aspect of this position).
CMMC knowledge is ideal but not required; training will be provided
Previous experience in customer relations
Ability to work well independently and with others in a team based setting
High school diploma or equivalent
