Construction Project Manager

Cedar Park Group is hiring a Construction Project Manager for our Commercial and Federal contracting division. Schedule/Shift: Full-Time, Onsite (Watertown Office – flexibility available when needed) Position Overview: We are seeking a hardworking, detail-driven, and reliable Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $1M to $10M. This role is responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and remain within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, advanced construction knowledge, and a proven track record managing commercial projects from start to finish. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from planning through close-out Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel to determine project specifications Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers Secure required permits, licenses, and inspections Enforce all building codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance on site Develop and manage project schedules, key milestones, and deliverables Estimate project costs and maintain financial oversight to ensure budget alignment Coordinate subcontractors and oversee onsite laborers and construction workers Conduct regular site visits and produce progress reports Identify potential risks or issues and implement proactive mitigation strategies Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project expectations Requirements (Mandatory & Desired): Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $1M–$10M Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) Previous experience as a Construction Manager or similar role Project management certification is a plus Deep understanding of construction methods, building codes, materials, and processes Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and construction management software Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to break down large project scopes into actionable steps Strong coordination, negotiation, and vendor management experience A collaborative team-first mindset Benefits: Medical Insurance Generous Time Off 401(k) Vehicle, Phone, and Gas Allowance for travel to and from project sites Profit Sharing & Bonus Opportunities
