Job TypePart-time, TemporaryDescriptionA Food and Beverage Team Member is Guest service focused and provides exceptional service in the F&B Department. Exceptional Guest service entails being fast and efficient while still maintaining safety, being Texas-friendly, being accurate, and having great personal integrity and responsibility. As a Cashier you are responsible for accepting payment for food items from the Guest and ensuring that register totals are accurate, delivering a Texas Friendly Howdy greeting, up-selling targeted items, and extending a positive departing comment is always expected. Runners may be required to greet the Guests, take orders, and prepare food for their final presentation. Cashiers will work in indoor locations, in outdoor carts, and at refill stations as needed. Team members are required to exemplify the 5 Moment Making Keys and deliver on the mission of Making Moments Worth Repeating All Summer Long.Responsibilities:Works efficiently to service all guests.Able to provide excellent guest serviceOperate the register and Point of Sale SystemAble to take forms of payment quickly and accuratelyMust follow all health department requirements and maintain a clean working environmentAble to assemble menu items and serve to guestsUses excellent judgmentIdentifies problems and works quickly to find solutionsWorks effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional mannerHas excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in interactions with Guests, fellow Team Members, and ManagementThis position may require standing for extended periods of time in indoor and outdoor environments, exposed to nature, including hot temperatures, rain, and direct sunlightThis position may require you to work in other positions, locations, and/or departments if neededMust be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas managementIf you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expenseRequirementsMay be required to stand for extended periods of timeMay be required to lift 20-50 lbs.May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rainMust be able to multitask and be flexible in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work well with othersMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit
