Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in using various kitchen equipment and tools. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
