Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist System One is partnering with a client seeking a Payroll Specialist to support their payroll team in a temp-to-hire capacity. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of payroll experience who is looking to grow their career within a stable and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage administrative payroll tasks efficiently, and a willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities over time. Experience with Workday is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Support payroll operations and assist with day-to-day payroll processing tasks Scan and upload garnishment documentation accurately and timely Perform light data entry and maintain employee payroll records Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and assist with resolving discrepancies Provide administrative support to the payroll team as needed Qualifications 1-2 years of payroll or related accounting/administrative experience Experience with Workday preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Strong communication and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
