Project Engineer – Multifamily ConstructionLocation: Cupertino, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $85,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experienceProject: 234-unit multifamily podium developmentPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a large, 234-unit multifamily construction project in Cupertino, CA.The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, multifamily, podium, and/or concrete construction and be comfortable supporting both the field and project management teams. This position works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to help keep the project organized, on schedule, and properly documented.Candidates should be local or within reasonable commuting distance of the project, as lodging and per diem are not provided. A gas card is provided.Key ResponsibilitiesManage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document controlMaintain project logs, meeting minutes, correspondence, and tracking documentsReview drawings, specifications, and addenda for discrepancies and coordination issuesCoordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve project questionsConduct regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plansAssist the Superintendent with tracking subcontractor activities and field progressSupport quality control efforts, punch lists, and project documentationAssist with procurement, bid comparisons, and subcontractor scope reviewsTrack material deliveries, equipment needs, and long-lead itemsSupport project scheduling and progress updatesAssist with change orders, pay applications, and cost trackingHelp maintain current drawings, specifications, and project recordsCompile O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and closeout documentationAssist with final inspections, punch list completion, and owner turnoverQualifications1–5 years of project engineering, field engineering, or construction management experienceExperience with multifamily, commercial, podium, and/or concrete constructionBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project documentationStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environmentProficiency with Microsoft OfficeProcore experience is highly preferredPrimavera P6 and Bluebeam experience are a plusCompensation & BenefitsThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.Local candidates are strongly preferred. No lodging or per diem is provided.
