The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients who have suffered personal injuries, as well as experience dealing with insurance companies. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury files from start to finish, including initial client contact, investigation, negotiation, and settlement. They will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel. Duties & Responsibilities:Investigate and analyze all aspects of each case to determine the best course of legal actionManage a high-volume caseload while maintaining strict attention to detailLocate and interview witnesses, review police reports and medical records, and perform research as necessaryPrepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial by organizing evidence, developing arguments, and drafting pleadingsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent them in court when necessaryKeep clients updated on the status of their cases and ensure that they understand and approve of the actions being taken on their behalfMaintain excellent communication with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the litigation processAdhere to ethical guidelines and comply with all state and federal laws governing the practice of lawStay abreast of developments in the field of personal injury lawSupervise support staff and delegate tasks as necessaryHandle administrative tasks such as file managementCandidate must be able to handle bodily injury cases from start to finishHeavy communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.Monitor the client’s medical treatmentDraft and send demand packagesRequired Skills And QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred2-5 years professional experience working with clients in a human services capacity is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Skills and QualificationsExperience working with clients who have experienced traumaFamiliarity with community resources and referral processesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredBenefitsCompetitive CompensationHealth Insurance Coverage, Vision coverage, Dental Coverage & 401k retirement.Job Type: Full-time
