Dental IT Field Service Technician

Job Description We’re looking for a hands-on Dental IT Field Service Technician to help install, upgrade, and support technology in dental offices. If you like working with computers and tools, enjoy being in the field instead of stuck behind a desk, and don’t mind getting a little dusty, this could be a great fit.This role involves daily travel to customer sites across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, working in active dental offices as well as construction and remodel spaces.What You’ll Be DoingInstalling and replacing computers, monitors, TVs, and other office techTroubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issuesInstalling and supporting dental X-ray equipment and imaging softwareSetting up networking gear (switches, routers, access points, etc.)Running, terminating, and testing audio, video, and data cablingInstalling audio/video equipment, phones, and door access systemsUsing power tools and hand tools safely and correctlyWorking on ladders and in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces when neededTraveling to customer sites and representing the company professionallyWhat We’re Looking ForExperience with IT, low-voltage, field service, or technical installationsComfortable working with computers, telephones (VOIP and Analog), and basic networkingNot afraid of physical work or getting into tight spacesComfortable using power tools and climbing laddersAble to work independently and problem-solve in the fieldWilling and able to travel daily throughout WI, IL, and INGood communication skills and a solid work ethicThe Work EnvironmentA mix of finished offices and construction sitesPhysical work including lifting, climbing, and crawlingField-based role with daily travelWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceCompany-provided vehicle for work travelTraining and support to grow your skillsTools providedCompany DescriptionTurnkey technology consulting company focused on dental and other small medical practices.
