Job DescriptionThe role is responsible for designing, deploying, administering, and maintaining mission-critical storage infrastructure, including provisioning, zoning, replication, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security remediation, compliance support, vendor coordination, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities.ResponsibilitiesThe position is responsible for the administration, support, and operational management of mission-critical Federal storage infrastructure, including:Designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise SAN environmentsAdministering storage arrays, SAN switches, and supporting infrastructure componentsMonitoring storage capacity, performance, and availability to ensure operational stabilityPerforming storage provisioning, zoning, masking, and replication activitiesTroubleshooting storage connectivity, latency, and performance-related issuesSupporting VMware, Oracle Linux, Windows, and OLVM storage integrationsMaintaining operational procedures, technical documentation, and storage architecture standardsSupporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management activitiesEnsuring adherence to Federal operational, security, and compliance requirementsParticipating in on-call rotations and providing after-hours operational support as requiredThe ideal candidate must possess demonstrated expertise in the following areas:Brocade SAN switch administrationEnterprise storage platforms including NetApp, HPE 3PAR, and Dell PowerMaxStorage administration across Windows, Linux, VMware, and OLVM environmentsAutomation and scripting utilizing PowerShell, Python, and Unix Shell scriptingSecurity remediation, vulnerability management, and operational complianceVendor coordination, escalation management, and infrastructure supportAbility to provide onsite support within driving distance of the KC/LS data center locationsDisclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $209,500 per annum.
