HR Business Partner – JLLWhat this job involves:LaSalle Investment Management, the investment division of JLL, is seeking an HR Business Partner to lead Human Resources initiatives for the Americas region. Based in Chicago, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders across a $30 billion asset portfolio supporting approximately 350 employees throughout the US and Canada. This dynamic role encompasses the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and performance management to compensation planning and employee relations. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and drive programs that optimize talent, structure, and culture while championing our Culture of Care values. You'll manage a team, influence business strategy, and contribute to global HR initiatives that strengthen communities and improve lives.What your day-to-day will look like:Serve as the primary HR contact for the Americas region, providing guidance on HR processes including performance management, talent development, compensation planning, and project management while managing HR Analyst and Talent Acquisitions AssociatePartner with business leaders to influence and integrate targeted people strategies that drive business objectives, develop strategic staffing plans, and address performance gapsChampion Culture of Care values by driving engagement and productivity across the workforce, focusing on inclusiveness, belonging, and the overall people experienceSupport executive stakeholders with competing priorities across multiple geographies and business lines, providing coaching to elevate leadership teams collectively and individuallyManage and resolve complex employee relations issues, engaging with Legal teams and Knowledge Centers as appropriateAnalyze HR analytics and provide strategic insights to grow the business, deliver results, and drive continuous HR improvement with commercially sound solutionsParticipate in LaSalle's international HR team on global human capital projects including leadership development, compensation programs, compliance, expatriate support, and engagement initiativesRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years' experience in client-focused HR generalist role including recruitment, compensation, performance management, employee relations, project management, and integrated talent managementExperience in Investment Management, Private Equity or Financial Services is strongly desiredBachelor's degree with major concentration in HR or businessProven track record as a trusted partner who influences business leaders and strategic direction of organizationsDemonstrated ability to lead and operate within a matrixed organization with strong collaboration skills across all organizational levelsStrong analytics, business, and financial acumen with ability to balance commerciality with risk and compliance mindsetResults-oriented self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can lead through complex situations as a change catalystEffective communicator and presenter with proven influencing skillsPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree and/or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, GPHR)Experience working in a global organization with demonstrated ability to work across culturesPeople management experience with ability to develop and mentor team membersFamiliarity with investment management business operations and strategyLocation:Onsite – Chicago, ILCompensation & Benefits:The salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000, dependent on experience, location, and market data. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
