Global Trade Compliance Account Lead

Allyn International is in search of an Global Trade Compliance Account Leader to grow within our Trade Department in either of our Greenville, SC - Fort Myers, FL locations. Our core products include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and trade compliance operational support and consulting.What does a Global Trade Compliance Account Leader do?The Trade Compliance Account Leader is responsible for managing the day to day operations for specific account(s), having an immediate impact on business fulfillment, client relations, and the achievement of long term departmental goals and objectives. This position works with the Global Trade Compliance Director and other leaders to ensure that standard processes and relevant metrics are in place, and are used to improve customer service, reduce or contain costs, and increase the productivity of the department. Leaders are required to extend mentoring and coaching skills, have the ability to present and conduct meetings and be confident with the ability to delegate, follow-up, and discipline per the company’s progressive disciplinary procedure. Timely forward suggested corrective actions or issues needing additional attention to the Trade Compliance Director Distribute workload efficiently among department team members Run standard reports and metrics on a regular basis. Analyze and review findings with Trade Compliance Director Actively participate in team meetings, conference calls, and daily project management calls with Allyn team and with the client Actively look for and capture savings opportunities and added value opportunities when possible Eliminate or minimize risk exposure for Allyn and customers Ensure client satisfaction Exhibit Allyn core values Travel to client locations as needed Participate in writing publications and articles as well as obtaining articles from team members.
